Recent customer comment:
I would just like to say THANK YOU and GOD'S BLESSING to all of your crews out here in Long Island, NY helping us get our electric back. Your staff is so POLITE, and respectful. We had 2 poles down, both fell into the front yards, 1 had the transform on it, wires everywhere, and your crews worked with all this heat all day to repair them. I had nothing cold to offer them, but I must offer my thanks and blessings to you all. With much respect and admiration,
Roberta Pollacek

Leadership

Scott Daugherty

Division Manager

A veteran with over 25 years in the industry, Scott understands electrical work inside and out. His father was an electrician with 40 years of experience, and his grandfather ran the Louisville Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Program. While a student at Eastern Kentucky University, Scott spent his summer months working as a pre-apprentice for a local electrical contractor before making the decision to join the electrical trade. Scott completed the apprenticeship program in 1999 and then began his career at Delta Services. Scott started as a journeyman wireman, then he eventually took on a superintendent position. He later became a project manager and then a partner.

At Delta Services, Scott oversees many of the day-to-day operations. He supervises project managers within both the electrical and utility departments. He is dedicated to customer satisfaction and is committed to taking on all challenges. He understands that in order to be a successful leader, creating quality work and establishing quality relationships with customers are equally important factors. Scott looks forward to embracing challenges and exceeding client expectations. He also looks forward to introducing local high school students to the electrical trade and plans to become more involved with NECA.

Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, maintaining and hunting on his farm in Adair County, and occasionally playing a round of golf.

Greg Simpson

Division Manager

With over 30 years in the industry, Greg first became interested in electrical work in high school when he enrolled in the electrician program. After graduating, Greg signed with the Air National Guard so he could become a high voltage technician. Then, in 1986, he entered an electrical apprenticeship program and was soon working as an electrician. More than 20 years ago, Greg joined Delta Electric, first working as a foreman, then as a general foreman and later as a project manager. The rest is a very successful history.

In 2005, Delta Electric became Delta Services, and Greg had an opportunity to manage the business’ communications. Greg recognized that structured cabling, security, fire alarm, and low voltage systems were rapidly changing, and these changes were opportunities to grow Delta Service’s market share and provide their customers with “turnkey” solutions to many projects. He then enrolled in BICSI courses and eventually completed the BICSI RCDD course. The RCDD is one of the highest design credentials in the information and communications technology (ICT) industry and is recognized worldwide.

Today, Greg’s attention to detail helps Delta Services provide high-quality, value-added solutions to our clients. An efficient, cost-effective, future-ready system is what Delta Services delivers, and that is what our clients expect. Greg understands that in order to keep earning clients’ business, every deliverable Delta Services is responsible for should be the best in the market. As someone who loves to find new opportunities to exceed our clients’ expectations, Greg is also careful to assess what potential projects will be the right fit for Delta Services.

When he’s not using his thoughtful, hands-on approach to navigate Delta Services toward increasing client satisfaction, Greg is an avid runner, hiker, and boater who loves the outdoors.
